The problem

  • Every edit was recorded, but no screen showed it.
  • Address changes from sign-up sat on a hidden copy of the customer.

    Changes in the Timeline

    • Smallest build; changes sit beside visits and invoices.

    • Browse change by field, but adds one more tab.

    • History in place, but every page needs more lookups.

What shipped

  • The Timeline shows each change, with old and new values.
  • Each change names its source: customer, staff, phone or change set.
  • A Changes chip filters the Timeline to changes only.
  • Changes made through the sign-up link show on the customer.

Open a customer's Timeline to see every change to their details. Each entry says what changed, when, and who or what made the change.
